North Melbourne Kangaroos 2024 Indigenous Scarf

Artwork Description: The artwork created for the 2024 North Melbourne Indigenous scarf was a designed and
inspired by last year’s artwork based on the players background of who they are and where they come from.

The foundation of the jersey is the traditional stripes with the symbols from last year’s design paying homage and
respects to Bunjil for the Wurundjeri People, Arden street oval, home of the Kangaroo’s.

There is a waterhole symbol representing the water surrounding the area.

Kangaroo tracks throughout to represent the journey of the North Melbourne football club and an image of a half sherrin
on the left side of the jersey to represent the game of football.

There are four kangaroos placed on the front to represent the Aboriginal players on the field. They are placed
throughout and are different directions to represent the individual players for their identity, positions and aspirations
for themselves at the club.
