Celebrate Sir Douglas Nicholls Round with the Kangaroos 2025 AFLW Indigenous Guernsey – Women’s. Inspired by Senior Wurundjeri Elder Aunty Joy Murphy Wandin AO and brought to life by Wemba Wemba, Gunditjmara, Ngadjonji and Taungurung artist Emma Bamblett, this stunning design tells a story that spans generations. Titled walert morrok goattak (“possum skin cloak” in Woi Wurrung language), it honours North Melbourne’s 100 years on Wurundjeri Country and Aunty Joy’s decade-long connection to the club. The guernsey’s front features a possum skin cloak adorned with cultural symbols including an ochre, grinding bowl, manna gum leaf, witchetty grub and guling orchid, each representing deep connections to culture, Country and community.
